Urban Achievers is a private, tuition-free program that spans grades 9-14, integrating high school, post-secondary education, sport-centered career development, and social impact. Graduates will emerge with both a high school diploma and postsecondary credentials, empowered to continue their academic journey or embark on impactful careers within the sports industry.
How It Works: The Urban Achievers' Pipeline
Urban Achievers’ dual enrollment model allows students to graduate with a high school diploma, a post-secondary credential, and equipped to begin their professional careers. The duration of their enrollment is designed to match each student’s individual pace, learning style, and aspirations.
High School:
Students at Urban Achievers follow a comprehensive academic framework that not only meets the state requirements for a high school diploma but also prepares them for the challenges of higher education. Personalized academic advising ensures that students can seamlessly transition into college-level courses while still in high school. In addition to academic support, students are provided with career-oriented mentorships and internships, which serve as a foundation for future professional pursuits in sport-related fields.
College:
Through Urban Achievers' dual-enrollment program, students can graduate with both a high school diploma and an associate degree, tuition-free. The program incorporates college-level courses into the academic schedule, giving students the chance to experience the rigor of higher education while still in high school. Graduates have the option to continue their studies at a four-year institution or begin their professional journey with the support of partner organizations.
Career:
